At Southern Grace Farms, we believe in educating the next generation about agriculture. In a society that craves to know where their food comes from, we enjoy taking classes and tours around a part of our farm in South Georgia and show them some of the other fruit we grow, where their food comes from, and also offer a view into the peanut industry that is not often seen by the general public. We schedule field trips for groups of 20 or more from all over South Georgia in the spring.
Field Trips are scheduled during peak Strawberry Season (usually March & April).
We welcome any group (school, church, scouts, after school, etc) of 20 or more. (We will schedule smaller groups with other small groups to meet the minimum requirements). Smaller groups may also come and be self guided, depending on scheduling.
Cost is $6 per student. Family members welcome, adults $3 for hay ride armband, siblings $3 for hayride armband or $6 to get whole field trip experience.
