Strawberry & Blackberry Cider/Juice Recipes
Blackberry Tea (Just like Chili's and Ruby Tuesday's!)
It’s me again, I just can’t get enough of your blackberry cider, I put one bottle (16oz bottle) in a gallon of ice tea( 10 tea bags) with 1 cup of sugar…try it, you probably won’t sell anymore and keep it all for yourself. (D Scorese New Jersey)

Strawberry Lemonade
* 1 cup strawberry nectar or cider
*1/4-1/2 cup sugar (to suit your taste)
*2 Quarts prepared lemonade
DIRECTIONS: Mix nectar and lemonade, add sugar and stir well.  Makes a little over 1/2 a gallon. (recipe given to us by Berry Barn customer)
Strawberry Smoothie
*1 cup strawberry yogurt
*1/4 cup strawberry nectar (or cider)
*1/4 cup cranberry juice cocktail
*1 1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
DIRECTIONS: Place all ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. (recipe is a variation of the one in the Naturally Good Berries Cookbook.)
Sparkling Strawberry Punch
Use measurements according to your preference.
*Ginger Ale
*Strawberry Nectar or Strawberry Cider

*Fresh strawberries (snap off cap and slice in half--you will probably need 1/2-1 cup of these)

*you will need an ice tray (they make a cute ice tray that freezes cubes in the shape of strawberries--this is a must! It is too cute!)
DIRECTIONS: In a large punch bowl, mix nectar/cider and ginger ale (taste test to make according to your preference-to see how much of each you need.)  After punch is mixed, cover with saran wrap and place in refrigerator.   Take sliced strawberries and place halves in ice tray (one or two halves in each ice section (depending on size) then fill tray up with cider/nectar and place in freezer to freeze. The floating strawberry ice is beautiful in your punch and with the frozen cider instead of water for ice--you don't have to worry about it getting watered down.
Berry Frosty
*2 cups fresh blackberries                         *Gingerale
*1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream                     *whole berries for garnishing
*3 Tbsp sugar                                          *thinly sliced lemon wheels for garnishing
*juice of one lemon                                   *blackberry nectar/cider
DIRECTIONS: Combine first four ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses and slowly add gingerale and nectar/cider to fill each glass. Garnish with 2-3 berries and lemon wheel.

More Customer suggestions!

***I tried different mixes (of blackberry nectar and other drinks) and the one that I like is Watermelon Ice Gatorade. The Gatorade has a slight berry taste and it does not conflict with the Blackberry.  D.L. Johnson, North Carolina

***I add blackberry nectar to my sweet tea and it tastes just like Chili's and Ruby Tuesday's Blackberry Ice Tea! D Scorese, New Jersey

***I tried the punch and it was great!  But I gave mine a little kick, adding Bacardi rum to the strawberry nectar and ginger ale.  It made a delicious punch!   (Karen Flint, Florida)
